TEAMSTERS LOCAL 79

General Membership Meetings will be held on the third Saturday for the months of January 2008 to May 2008. Meetings will be suspended for June, July and August as outlined in the Local Union Bylaws and will resume on the third Saturday for the months of September 2008 through December 2008 and will start at 9:00 a.m. We'll save a seat for you.

Local 79's Member and Retiree Appreciation Day will be held Saturday, October 18, 2008. Please stay tuned for further details!

Address Updates - It is important that you keep your current mailing address and other information up-to-date with the Local Union. Please give us a call if you have had a change of address or telephone number. It's our only way of contacting you!

Teamsters Local Union 79 13th Annual Golf Scholarship Tournament

On June 7, 2008, Teamsters Local 79 held their 13th Annual Golf Scholarship Tournament at Cypress Creek Golf Course. The event was a great success. Local 79 was able to award eighteen (18) scholarships this year!

A Call to Arms! Local 79 has encouraged our members to participate in the donation of blood for over 40 years.
